PROJECT 8 :PERFORMANCE NIGHT (THE LOST KINGDOM)






The End Of The Semester !!!

This is the most epic,grand,glorious,great,meaningful,amazing Studio Project I had done before..:) :) :)
For the Project 8 (Last Project),each course had been given their representative Kingdom based on vote by the committee members.

Here Is The List of Kingdom :

THE LOST KINGDOM
1. Langkasuka - Urban Planner
2. Sivijaya - Architecture
3. Majapahit - Quantity Surveyor
4. Singhasari - Interior Design
5. Demak - Construction Management
6. Mataram - Building Technology
7. Kerajaan Pagar Riung - Building Surveyor


During This night everyone from all kingdom looks like a warriors and also like king and queen for their "kingdom".All course had give their best in making sure they came up with a good performance..
YES TRUE ,All Performance were Extraordinary Amazing !!!


Honestly,As a Project Director This 2 weeks quiet exhausted for me because I need to make sure that this 2 big event (Project 7 & Project 8 ) were run smoothly.I have to give my best since I had been chose by the lecturer to handle this and I need to meets their expectation .I also need to make sure everything need to be done within time and budget.This experience had give me a lot of benefit and also can help me to sharpen my leadership and courage.
I hoped that everyone either the lecturer,committee members or others student can accept my way in organizing this two event.I will gonna miss this moment where everyone works with each other in organizing this event.

PROJECT 7 :THE EXHIBITION



"PROJECT DIRECTOR for both big event THE EXHIBITION & PERFORMANCE NIGHT"
Me as a Project Director ?Seriously? Yes true this is the reality !

I never image that our Studio Coordinator for RUS 104 together with The adviser of The Exhibition & Performance Night,Dr Mazran and Dr Azree will choose me and put their trust towards me to handle this two big event.But Alhamdulillah I could manage this group of committee member which consist of 33 members.Me as a Project Director once again being assist by Mandy as my Deputy Director and the other members.

We the Committe members together with our adviser and coordinator (Dr Mazran & Dr Azree) have agreed to choose "THE FLOATING LINES" as the theme for the RUS104 XZBITION DAY 2013/2014




Back To The Project 7 :

each student were required to design and decorate the booth base on their course.They need to choose the best previous project of their coursemate from Project 1 until Project 5.

For Project 6 ( The Amphitheater) ,the booth were handle by all the committee members as the representative of all 12 groups.

Project 6 : The Amphitheater Stage

This is the main Objectives:
  •    To enhance students’ skills in applying suitable elements and principles of design in producing a small building with specific function and context.
  •    To improve students’ skills in conducting and documenting site analysis, designing objects and producing complete presentation drawings.
  •   To enhance students’ creativity in designing a unique yet practical one-space building with the understanding of human physiology, ergonomic and comfort factors based on basic technical knowledge.
  •    To increase students’ creativity in producing a remarkable stage design in the real climate and site context and explaining it with a clear design statement.
  •   To introduce students to the skills of applying suitable structural design, materials and basic services.
  •    To expose students to the basic costing analysis.
  •    To introduce students to the report writing requirements and skills.
  •    To expose students to the knowledge of basic construction process and management.
  •    To allow students to construct a relatively large scale of physical model with appropriate construction techniques.
  •  To encourage teamwork and nourish leadership skills among students.

    In this project student were divided into 12 group which is each group will consist at least 15-17 members.

    As for me I am in the Group 6 and had been trusted by my studio master for this project to become the group Leader assist by my superb talented Assistant Leader,Oh jinyi (mandy).

    We had divided our group into 2 group which is Design Team and Non Design Team.As for Design team they were conducted by Mandy while Non Design Team handle by me.

    After having several meeting,discussion and do the site analysis,we the design team and non design team had decided to choose the concept of THE WAVE for our amphitheater due to the location of the site is infront of the sea

  • PROJECT 6b :THE AMPHITHEATER MODEL
    after complete design the amphitheater,each student were required to build the model of the Amphitheater using timber as its main material and structure.the model should follow the scale of 1:5 and this is I think quiet a huge model for us to build,but Alhamdulillah we manage to complete all the "carpenter" works within time.
